As part of our commitment to transparency under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, this policy outlines exactly how your garments are prepared, dispatched, and delivered to your door.

Free Worldwide Delivery

We provide complimentary shipping on every single order, with no minimum purchase thresholds and no exceptions. Whether your order is travelling across the Hauraki Gulf to Auckland or across the world to Amsterdam, delivery is entirely on us.

Order Processing and Creation Timeframes

Because our studio operates on a sustainable, low-waste model, processing times vary depending on whether your chosen garment is already crafted or tailored specifically to your measurements.

Ready to Ship Items

If you have ordered a wrap skirt, a pre-made merino poncho, or a pair of patchwork jeans that we have in your exact size, your order will be carefully packaged and dispatched the very next business day.

Custom and Made to Order Items

If you have requested a custom upcycled denim piece or a specific tailored merino kimono layout, please allow three to five business days for us to design, reconstruct, and prepare your order before it is dispatched from our Waiheke studio.

Estimated Transit Windows

Once your unique garment leaves our hands, transit times vary based on your location and regional postal networks.

  • New Zealand: Two to five business days

  • Australia: Five to ten business days

  • Rest of the World: Ten to twenty business days

Please note that these timeframes are realistic estimates. Deliveries may take slightly longer during peak seasonal periods or due to regional transport disruptions.

Sustainable Plastic Free Packaging

Your Heke Design piece will be thoughtfully wrapped to ensure it remains protected throughout its journey. In alignment with our circular fashion philosophy and absolute anti-plastic stance, we use minimally processed, recycled, and fully compostable packaging materials. Our goal is to ensure your unboxing experience leaves zero trace on the planet.

Consignment Tracking

A digital dispatch notice containing your tracking details will be sent to your email address as soon as your parcel is registered with our delivery partners.

While domestic shipments include comprehensive tracking, please note that certain standard international economy services do not feature live milestone tracking. If continuous international tracking is essential for your peace of mind, please contact us before finalizing your checkout so we can arrange a premium service for you.

International Customs, Tariffs, and Import Duties

For most global destinations, international shipments may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, or handling fees levied by the destination country. These statutory charges are determined entirely by your local border authorities and remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Special United States Standard

For all orders sent to the United States, we pre-arrange and pre-pay all relevant customs fees and tariffs. If you are ordering from the US, no additional fees will be requested upon entry.
